PUPPY REHOMING SERVICE TERMS & CONDITIONS

Thank you for choosing Oklahoma Yorkie Palace DBA Oklahoma Yorkies™ to help you welcome a puppy into your family.

Our goal is to make the puppy-selection and rehoming process as enjoyable, transparent, and stress-free as possible. We encourage you to contact us with questions or concerns throughout the process. When applicable, we will provide reasonable updates concerning your puppy's growth, development, health, and anticipated Ready-to-Rehome Date.

This Agreement is intended to protect Oklahoma Yorkie Palace DBA Oklahoma Yorkies™, All parties and—most importantly—the health, safety, and general well-being of the puppy. By submitting a deposit, advance payment, rehoming payment, or accepting possession of a puppy, the Buyer acknowledges that the Buyer has reviewed and agrees to these Terms & Conditions and any accompanying invoice, health documentation, or puppy-specific agreement.

1. AGREEMENT TO TERMS

The Buyer should carefully review this Agreement, including the Health Guarantee provisions, before making any payment toward a puppy.

Payment of a deposit, installment, reservation fee, pre-order payment, or rehoming fee constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of these Terms & Conditions to the extent permitted by applicable law.

2. PUPPY RESERVATIONS, DEPOSITS & REHOMING FEES

Oklahoma Yorkies™ may require an advance payment to reserve a particular puppy.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

A reservation deposit may be up to 50% of the applicable rehoming fee.

The deposit will be credited toward the puppy's total rehoming fee.

Any remaining balance must be paid no later than pickup or at least 24 hours before scheduled delivery, as applicable.

Puppies that have not been reserved remain subject to availability.

Buyers participating in an approved payment or pre-order program may make payments in advance toward a future puppy.

When the applicable balance has been paid and puppies are available, Oklahoma Yorkies™ will provide available selections within the Buyer's applicable category, price range, breed, or other agreed criteria.

A puppy cannot leave Oklahoma Yorkies™ until all required payments have cleared and the puppy has been determined ready for rehoming.

3. PAYMENT METHODS

Approved payment methods may include:

Cash

Zelle

Venmo

Other payment methods expressly approved by Oklahoma Yorkies™

Payment instructions will be provided by Oklahoma Yorkies™.

Payments may be processed through an authorized business representative or approved payment account designated by Oklahoma Yorkies™.

The Buyer agrees not to knowingly initiate a fraudulent chargeback, payment reversal, stop-payment request, or payment dispute for a validly authorized transaction.

If a payment is returned, reversed, disputed, or remains unpaid, Oklahoma Yorkies™ may exercise any remedies available under this Agreement and applicable law, including demanding payment or, where legally permitted and mutually arranged, return of the puppy.

Oklahoma Yorkies™ will not enter a Buyer's residence or private property without lawful authorization or the Buyer's permission.

The Buyer may also be responsible for reasonable collection, transportation, court, or legal costs to the extent permitted by law and awarded or otherwise legally recoverable.

If a Buyer anticipates difficulty making an agreed payment, the Buyer should contact Oklahoma Yorkies™ before the payment becomes delinquent so that available options can be discussed.

4. NON-REFUNDABLE PAYMENTS & STORE CREDIT

Except as expressly provided in the Health Guarantee or required by applicable law, deposits, reservation payments, and amounts paid toward a puppy are non-refundable.

If Oklahoma Yorkies™ determines that the selected puppy cannot be rehomed because of a qualifying health issue or another covered circumstance, eligible amounts may be transferred as store credit toward another available puppy.

Unless Oklahoma Yorkies™ agrees otherwise in writing, remedies under this Agreement are replacement or store credit rather than cash refund.

5. READY-TO-REHOME DATE

Oklahoma Yorkies™ determines when each puppy is developmentally and medically ready to leave.

Many puppies may be ready at approximately eight weeks of age; however, the exact date depends upon factors including:

Breed

Weight

Development

Weaning

Health

Veterinary recommendations

Individual needs of the puppy

Micro Mini, Teacup, and particularly small puppies may require additional time before rehoming.

The health and safety of the puppy take priority over a requested pickup date.

Oklahoma Yorkies™ will not release a puppy before it determines that the puppy is ready to safely transition into its new home.

Veterinary professionals working with Oklahoma Yorkies™ must be allowed to perform their professional responsibilities without unnecessary interference. Questions regarding a puppy should ordinarily be directed to Oklahoma Yorkies™ unless otherwise authorized.

If a Buyer fails to pick up a puppy on the agreed Ready-to-Rehome Date, a boarding/care fee of up to $100 per day may apply unless alternative arrangements have been approved in writing beforehand.

6. VACCINATIONS, DEWORMING & EARLY HEALTH PROTECTION

At rehoming, the puppy will receive the vaccinations, deworming, and other veterinary care reflected in the puppy's available health records.

The Buyer is responsible for continuing all vaccinations, deworming, preventive care, and veterinary treatment recommended by the Buyer's veterinarian.

Young puppies may not yet have completed their full vaccination series.

Until cleared by the Buyer's veterinarian, the Buyer should take reasonable precautions to avoid exposing the puppy to potentially unvaccinated animals or high-risk public areas frequently used by unfamiliar dogs.

This can include dog parks, pet-store floors, communal pet areas, and similar environments.

7. PUPPY HEALTH & DESCRIPTION

Before rehoming, the puppy will be evaluated to the extent described in its accompanying records.

Any vaccinations, examinations, procedures, tail docking, or other veterinary services actually performed will be identified through the puppy's applicable records.

Marketing photographs may be used to illustrate a breed, size category, coat pattern, color, appearance, or representative puppy type.

Unless a photograph is expressly identified in writing as depicting the Buyer's specific puppy, photographs should not be interpreted as a guarantee that the Buyer will receive the exact puppy appearing in a marketing image.

When reasonably possible, Oklahoma Yorkies™ will work with the Buyer to select a puppy consistent with the characteristics and rehoming category requested.

If an approved exchange is requested, replacement availability will depend upon puppies available at that time and the health and welfare of both puppies.

The welfare of the puppy always takes priority over an exchange request.

HEALTH GUARANTEE

8. INITIAL VETERINARY EXAMINATION

To qualify for applicable protections under the Oklahoma Yorkies™ Health Guarantee, the Buyer should have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 24 hours of receiving the puppy.

The examination is at the Buyer's expense unless otherwise agreed in writing.

9. VETERINARY DOCUMENTATION

Documentation from the Buyer's licensed veterinarian relating to a Health Guarantee claim must be submitted to:

The Buyer should submit required documentation within 10 calendar days of receiving the puppy unless an emergency or applicable law requires otherwise.

10. PUPPY DEEMED MEDICALLY UNFIT WITHIN 24 HOURS

If, within 24 hours after receiving the puppy, a licensed veterinarian determines that the puppy had a material health condition existing at the time of rehoming that makes the puppy medically unfit for placement, the Buyer must promptly notify Oklahoma Yorkies™.

A written veterinary statement identifying the diagnosis and basis for determining that the puppy was medically unfit must be provided.

Subject to verification of the claim and the remaining provisions of this Agreement, Oklahoma Yorkies™ may accept return of the puppy and provide a qualifying replacement puppy or store credit.

The guarantee does not apply to an injury, illness, or condition resulting from the Buyer's acts, omissions, neglect, accident, improper care, or post-rehoming exposure.

11. BUYER NEGLECT OR INJURY

The Health Guarantee does not cover a health condition caused or materially worsened by:

Neglect

Failure to provide adequate food or water

Trauma or injury

Improper handling

Failure to obtain reasonable veterinary care

Unsafe environmental conditions

Exposure to dangerous animals or substances

Failure to follow veterinary instructions

12. MINOR OR TREATABLE CONDITIONS

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the Health Guarantee does not provide an automatic replacement for minor, temporary, or routinely treatable conditions.

Examples may include certain:

Minor respiratory conditions

Allergies

Internal parasites

External parasites

Minor umbilical hernias

Other conditions considered medically manageable by a licensed veterinarian

Any claim will be evaluated based upon the individual puppy, veterinary diagnosis, applicable law, and the terms of this Agreement.

13. CARE AFTER REHOMING

Following transfer of possession, the Buyer assumes responsibility for providing proper daily care and protecting the puppy from reasonably foreseeable hazards.

Small puppies require particularly careful supervision.

Potential outdoor predators can include hawks, owls, coyotes, and other animals, depending upon location.

Never leave a very small puppy outdoors unattended.

14. POST-REHOMING MEDICAL EXPENSES

Except where expressly required by this Agreement or applicable law, Oklahoma Yorkies™ is not responsible for veterinary or medical expenses incurred after the puppy has been rehomed.

The Buyer should contact Oklahoma Yorkies™ before authorizing non-emergency treatment for which the Buyer intends to request reimbursement.

Emergency veterinary care should never be delayed merely to obtain authorization.

15. TRAINING & BEHAVIOR

Every puppy develops differently.

Oklahoma Yorkies™ does not guarantee a particular temperament, training outcome, house-training timeline, obedience level, or behavior after rehoming.

The Buyer's veterinarian and/or a qualified dog trainer can provide guidance concerning:

House training

Crate training

Socialization

Feeding

Behavioral development

Puppy safety

16. ADULT SIZE

Oklahoma Yorkies™ does not guarantee a puppy's final adult size or weight.

Terms such as:

Micro Mini

Teacup

Toy

may describe an anticipated size category or rehoming classification and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of a specific adult weight.

Projected adult size may be estimated based upon genetics, parents, growth rate, experience, and other factors, but biological development cannot be guaranteed.

An approved exchange may be considered under Oklahoma Yorkies™ policies; however, cash refunds are not provided except where otherwise required by law.

17. PET QUALITY / BREEDING / SHOWING

Unless a separate written agreement expressly states otherwise, puppies are rehomed as:

TOP QUALITY PET / COMPANION ANIMALS

Oklahoma Yorkies™ does not guarantee:

Fertility

Breeding ability

Reproductive performance

Show-ring qualification

Championship eligibility

Conformation-show results

Breeding rights, registration rights, or show rights must be specifically stated in a separate written agreement if applicable.

18. HYPOGLYCEMIA & SMALL-PUPPY CARE

Very small puppies can require special feeding and monitoring.

Oklahoma Yorkies™ cannot guarantee against hypoglycemia occurring after rehoming when caused by feeding schedules, stress, environmental changes, illness, or other post-transfer circumstances.

The Buyer should obtain instructions from a licensed veterinarian concerning feeding frequency, glucose management, nutritional supplementation, and emergency symptoms.

Any nutritional gel or supplement should be administered only according to product instructions and veterinary guidance.

19. CONGENITAL HEALTH GUARANTEE

Oklahoma Yorkies™ provides a lifetime congenital-defect replacement guarantee, subject to the terms, limitations, veterinary verification requirements, and exclusions contained in this Agreement.

If a licensed veterinarian diagnoses a serious congenital defect qualifying under this Guarantee, the Buyer must provide appropriate veterinary documentation.

Oklahoma Yorkies™ reserves the right to obtain a second professional veterinary opinion when reasonably necessary.

For an approved claim, the applicable remedy will ordinarily be a replacement puppy of the same or comparable breed/category when one becomes available.

If a puppy dies and the Buyer seeks coverage under this provision, Oklahoma Yorkies™ may require a veterinary necropsy to establish the cause of death.

When reasonably available, a necropsy may be conducted through Oklahoma State University Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital or another mutually acceptable licensed veterinary pathology facility.

The Buyer must notify Oklahoma Yorkies™ promptly following the puppy's death so appropriate veterinary instructions can be provided.

20. OWNER UNABLE TO KEEP THE PUPPY

If at any point the Buyer is unable or unwilling to keep the puppy, the Buyer agrees to contact Oklahoma Yorkies™ before surrendering, selling, transferring, or rehoming the puppy to another person whenever required by the applicable puppy-specific agreement.

Oklahoma Yorkies™ may assist with return, placement, or another appropriate solution.

If the Buyer seeks an exchange based upon size or another qualifying issue, the puppy must satisfy all applicable exchange conditions.

Spaying or neutering may affect eligibility for certain exchanges when breeding status or other material characteristics were part of the original agreement.

21. FINAL PAYMENT & FAILURE TO PICK UP

Unless different arrangements have been approved in writing, the entire outstanding balance must be paid before the Buyer takes possession of the puppy.

If the Buyer fails to pick up the puppy at the scheduled date and time and does not communicate with Oklahoma Yorkies™, Oklahoma Yorkies™ may, after 24 hours, make the puppy available to another qualified home.

Applicable deposits or payments may be forfeited subject to this Agreement and applicable law.

Buyers who need additional time should contact Oklahoma Yorkies™ before the scheduled pickup date.

22. APPOINTMENTS, IDENTITY VERIFICATION & PRE-ORDER PROGRAMS

Buyers must schedule an appointment and accept the applicable Terms & Conditions before a puppy will be released.

Participants in certain payment, financing, delivery, or pre-order programs may be asked to complete reasonable identity-verification procedures.

For security purposes:

Do not email or text copies of a full debit/credit card number, CVV security code, PIN, online-banking password, or other sensitive authentication credential.

Where identification is necessary, Oklahoma Yorkies™ may request a valid government-issued photo ID through an approved secure verification method.

Payment-card information should be submitted only through an approved secure payment-processing system.

BUYER ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By signing below or electronically accepting these Terms & Conditions, the Buyer acknowledges that the Buyer:

Has read this Agreement.

Understands the Agreement.

Has had an opportunity to ask questions.

Understands the payment and cancellation policies.

Understands the Health Guarantee requirements.

Understands the Buyer's obligation to obtain veterinary care.

Understands that projected adult size is not guaranteed.

Agrees that the puppy's health and welfare take priority in all rehoming decisions.

Agrees to comply with all applicable provisions of this Agreement.
